DEVELOPMENTS

The development of any land, be it vacant or already built-upon, increases green house gas production. The process of construction and the materials and transportation of those materials causes energy to be consumed and thus green house gasses to be produced.

A GRID development mitigates these impacts by designing and building homes that generate as much energy as they consume, thus creating a net effect of zero carbon production. “Smart” Architecture, tight building envelopes, solar or wind power (both renewable sources), the selection of renewable materials and all sorts of other creative solutions all contribute to housing projects that are Green, Regenerative and Innovative Developments … which form the basis of GRID
